Slip, trip, fall, and safety incidents across construction sites, pools, and workplaces.

Investigating slip, trip and fall, construction, and pool safety incidents, with site inspection and causation analysis since 1967.
We investigate same-level falls, slips, trips, and missteps, along with broader premises safety issues across construction sites and swimming pools. The distinction matters: a slip happens when there's too little friction between a shoe and the walking surface, a trip happens when the body's forward motion suddenly outpaces its support base, and a misstep happens when a surface isn't what it appeared to be. Each has different causes and different evidence.
Falls on sidewalks, in workplaces, homes, schools, or stores, often tied to obstructed views, poor lighting, clutter, or an unexpected change in level; construction site incidents involving scaffolding, loading docks, or heavy machinery; and swimming pool drownings and pool-related injuries.
For falls, we measure the coefficient of friction and illumination levels of the walking surface directly, using specialized equipment, and compare the results against safety standards and building codes. For construction and pool matters, we draw on the same core toolkit, product and premises evaluation, material failure analysis, and OSHA/Cal-OSHA code compliance review, backed by a firm library of product safety literature that runs over 2,000 volumes and dates back to 1973.

Why are these grouped together? Falls, construction incidents, and pool-related cases share the same investigative approach, on-site evaluation of conditions and causation, even though the settings differ.
